While exploring an underground tomb, the party discovers a big clue to Seaport’s mystery hidden within a treasure hoard.
The party makes their way to the pillars on the nearby mountain. They discover the pillars surround a large stone slab and each is decorated with various runes. As they search the area, Rou locates a keyhole within the joints of the slab. Using the key they found in the observatory, the slab opens to reveal an underground room.
Within the room are various crates, decorative jars and numerous valuables strewn about. On one wall is another stone slab that is partially carved with intricate details. As they investigate the slab they realize the room was intended to be the final resting place of Arcazar Grimmandius. The tomb itself has been left in a half-finished state with incomplete traps, valuables unpacked, and the vault’s death mask unfinished. Investigating the contents of the crates, the group finds a rusted chest that holds Arcazar’s logs and final request.
